Damon L. Dennis, Sr., a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, was born on April 22, 1923 and departed this life for his eternal home on Monday, January 22, 2018.
He was a retired Merchant Seaman (NMU).
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife: Delores Dennis of Mobile, AL; three sons: Damon L. Dennis, Jr and David (Janelle) Dennis both of Mobile, Derrick Dennis of Miami, FA; one granddaughter: Ashley Dennis of Little Rock, AR; devoted goddaughter: Kenyetta Brown of Mobile, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
His remains will lie in state from 1-8pm on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 10am until the 12pm funeral hour in Small’s Mortuary Chapel, Mobile, Alabama. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL.
