Della Lee King, age 81, was born in Monroe County on February 3, 1937 and was a long-time resident of Daphne, Alabama. She was born to the union of Levi and Lucy Banks.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Starling King Jr., and was a dedicated and faithful member of Restoration Fellowship Ministries.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories and to celebrate her legacy, devoted daughters, Ollie Allen of Tampa, Florida, and Evon (Edward) White of Daphne, Alabama; one devoted son, Starling (Kimberly) King III of Fairhope, Alabama; two living sisters, Mary McCants of Pensacola, Florida and Daisy Mitchell of Fairhope, Alabama; devoted grandchildren, Karyn, Dominic, Jessica, Alisha, and Starling IV, all of Daphne, Alabama; two devoted friends, Inez Shepherd and Vera Johnson; and host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Restoration Fellowship Ministries, 9585 Milton Jones Road, Daphne, AL 36526.
